Medical Doctorate
In 2018, I graduated from medical school at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. During that time, I served as the Social Chair for the Student Council. I also received a concentration in Global Health after mission trips to Jamaica and Uganda.
General Surgery Residency
Continuing my medical training, I went on to General Surgery Residency at my home institution of Wright State University. During my short time in residency, I’ve developed an interest in trauma surgery, pediatric surgery, medical education, and social media.
Pediatric Surgery Research Fellow
I recently completed 2 dedicated research years at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center where I served as the research fellow for Dr. Todd Ponsky. My day-to-day tasks involved filming and editing pediatric surgical education material including videocasts, podcasts, and digital social media content.
